Timshghal Tours can organize and implement the following items:

• Tourist and geological/scientific trips to coastal and desert regions of Libya and Tunisia, including ancient ruins of the Greeks, Romans and Pheonicians, and stunning sandy beaches such as at Soosa and Tolmite - view our list of itineraries.

• Arrangement of visas (takes approx. 4 weeks)

• Booking of international and domestic flights and all other travel and accomodation requirements, including hotel/restaurant reservations, providing campsites in the desert, rental of cars/4 x 4 vehicles/buses.

• Provision of local guides where appropriate, catering for specific meal requirements, entrance fees for archaeological sites, organisation of traditional parties.

• Trips/tours in the Great Desert (Sahara) including cave and mountain scenes with ancient drawings/paintings, salt lakes and huge sand dunes, adventure tours by camel, cycle rallies, trekking.

• Special trips to the Great Man Made River Project.

• In association with Moody-Sandman Associates, we provide for geological field studies covering palaeozoic & mesozoic outcrops including accomodation, food supply, safe transportation, expert guides.

• We cater for scuba diving holidays.

• We also run 5 star VIP trips.

Not Included

• Costs incured in obtaining your visa.

• Tickets to allow photography may need be to be purchased at some sites.

• Clients must provide their own sleeping bags for any trips involving camping.

Extra

• Water is a scarce resource during desert treks and can only be used in moderation for washing, etc.

• Desert treks require light luggage suitable for desert use, light shoes and a torch.

• All our cars are durable 4-wheel drives with enough space for 4 or 5 people each.
